LaBarre inks deal for AutoTrends new location on South Frontage Road

Auto Trends Car Audio and Accessories owner Robert LaBarre has closed a land deal for his new location on South Frontage Road. The new location will be at 1820 South Frontage in front of Tractor Supply.

“People remember that spot as the location of the old El Sombrero,” said LaBarre. “The new store will be 6000 square feet and construction will begin next week.” LaBarre has been doing car audio accessories for almost a quarter of a century and opened his own shop on Highway 80 in February of 2022.

The Highway 80 location will remain open until the new shop is complete.

“We will be doing what we do on Highway 80 until we can move into the new shop, hopefully by the end of summer,” explained LaBarre. “One of the things we will be doing in the new shop is installing accessories for those with special needs.

There is a need locally to provide services to that segment of our community. Not only will our building be up to modern accessibility standards, but we will also offer the newest accessories for those who are [disabled].

We sell and install a host of audio accessories including car stereos, car security, truck and car accessories.”

Autotrends is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and by appointment only on Sunday. For any inquiries, they will be happy to take your call at 601-415-1563.
